Contact
One inbox handles everything: contact@undergradly.org. The guidance below is about what to include so we can route and reply faster.
Data corrections
If a number on the site looks wrong, we want to hear about it. Outcome data drives every verdict and ranking on Undergradly, so getting it right matters.
To help us triage quickly, please include:
- The full URL of the page where the number appears.
- The metric in question (e.g. "10-year median earnings", "graduation rate", "transfer-out count").
- What value you think is correct, and the source you're citing — ideally a federal source (IPEDS, College Scorecard, BLS, Census, Opportunity Insights), or your institution's own published figure.
Confirmed corrections are noted on the affected page with a credit line if you'd like one. We do not silently revise numbers without disclosure.
Editorial & methodology questions
Questions about how a verdict was reached, why a ranking is weighted the way it is, or why a specific data source was or wasn't used are welcome. Our scoring rules, formulas, and known limitations are published on the methodology page and the per-feature pages it links to — checking there first will usually save us both time.
If the answer isn't on those pages, write in. Methodology questions that lead to changes get noted on the methodology page, with the rationale.
Press inquiries
Journalists, researchers, and policy writers — happy to help. For interviews, data licensing, or quoted analysis, please include:
- Your outlet and beat.
- A short description of the angle or story.
- Your deadline.
We can speak on the record about methodology, the federal data sources that power the site, and findings published on Undergradly. We do not provide rankings, verdicts, or unpublished data ahead of release on request.
Privacy & data rights
Requests under California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or any other US state privacy law — or general questions about how the site handles analytics, cookies, or stored data — go to the same address. Use the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right(s) you want to exercise (access, correction, deletion, opt-out of sale/sharing, etc.).
We will verify a request to a reasonable degree (typically by replying to the address you wrote from). If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying "Appeal" to our decision email. The full policy lives on the privacy page.
Everything else
Feedback on the site, suggestions for new analyses, broken links, accessibility issues, partnership ideas — all welcome at the same address. A short subject line that names the topic ("Broken link", "Accessibility", "Partnership") is all the routing we need.
We are a small editorial team. Replies on factual corrections and privacy requests are prioritized. General feedback receives a reply when possible but not always — please don't take silence as dismissal.
What we don't accept by email
- Pitches for paid placement, sponsored rankings, or "featured college" slots. Undergradly does not sell these and never will. See how this site is funded for the full disclosure.
- Personal admissions advising. We're an editorial site, not a consultancy — we can't review individual application lists or financial-aid packages. Use the Worth-It and Compare Paths tools instead; they are designed to answer the question.
- SEO / link-building outreach. Link requests, guest-post pitches, and "did you know your page is missing a link to..." emails are ignored. Saves us both time.
