Earnings across the first decade (P25 / median / P75)
College Scorecard institution medians at 1, 6 and 10 years after entry. The P25/P75 band is scaled from the 10-year percentile spread, not separately published at each horizon.
College Scorecard. Earnings are measured ten years after entry across students who received federal aid — completers and non-completers alike — not ten years after graduation.
Median earnings settle at $50,801 ten years after entry, close to the typical four-year result. The spread is wide — $21,451 at the 25th percentile against $70,470 at the 75th — so the median hides very different outcomes depending on major and path. The cost-adjusted equivalent is $45,882, so the nominal salary overstates real purchasing power here. Median debt among completers is only $14,866, which changes the arithmetic considerably. The debt-to-income ratio of 0.29 is comfortable — debt is a small fraction of what graduates earn.
