Ten-year median earnings of $35,171 trail most four-year institutions. The middle half of the students measured earn between $18,143 and $55,301 ten years after entry — a normal spread, so the median is a fair expectation. On a cost-of-living-adjusted basis the median is worth $39,297, a meaningful premium over the nominal number. Median debt among completers is only $12,570, which changes the arithmetic considerably. The debt-to-income ratio is 0.36, around the commonly cited healthy ceiling — manageable, with little margin.
